Rheem Contour Natural or LP gas furnace

94% gas efficiency with a DC drive blower motor that saves up to $600 per year in electrical costs. Not to be confused with variable speed furnaces that basically step the gas valve and have two speed blower motors. The Contour furnace is a truly modulating furnace. When called to heat, the Contour modulates the gas and blower from 40% to 100% depending on the need for heating at the time. Venting is sidewall or roof vented with PVC pipe.

When called for heat the 95 two stage starts at low fire (40%) then only when necessary goes
to (100%) high fire. Venting is sidewall or roof vented with PVC pipe.
